Andy Becker - Freshman Coach |
Andy Becker returns for his second year in the Oilers program as well. Coach Becker is an integral part of the program, that Coach Luna stated implementing last year. According to Coach Luna, "Coach Becker is the most important coach in out program; he is responsible for laying the foundation and teaching out new players everything that is expected from them. He does a great job and has great rapport with the players. Coach Becker will also assist the Varsity and JV teams respectively. Coach Becker is a local product, graduating from Ocean View High School where he played basketball., He went on to California State University Long Beach, where he graduated with a degree in History. Coach Becker coached at Ocean View and Marina High Schools before coming to HBBS. Currently, Coach Becker is teaching History at Marine View Middle School here in Huntington Beach. |
