John Janssen - JV Head Coach |
New JV Coach John Janssen comes to HBHS with a great deal of basketball knowledge and experience. Coach Luna says, Coach Janssen, will bring a wealth of knowledge to out program this year. He has been around the game a long time and we are excited to have him in out program." Coach Janssen has been coaching club basketball and training in Orange County and decided to make the transition to high school level, hoping one day to become a head coach himself. Coach Janssen will also assist with the Varsity team and work with the post players for the program. Coach Janssen is a local product, graduating from Fountain Valley High School, where he played basketball; He continued his playing career at Grand Canyon University in Arizona, where he graduated with a degree in Marketing. After graduation, Coach Janssen continued playing professionally overseas for three years and currently is substituting in the district while working towards his teaching credential. |
